One of our favorite activities is to walk along Dune Road in the mornings and take in the sun and fresh air. Dune Road is the home to BEAUTIFUL properties that offer everything you think of when you think “House in the Hamptons:” pools, tennis courts, beach backyards… It’s a popular location for people to ride their bikes, walk and just detach from their electronics for an hour.
Whenever I go for a walk like this, I make sure I’m armed with my Nike sneakers, comfy yoga pants, a breezy tank, and my trusty ZICO. This summer I fell in love with coconut water and can’t believe I wasn’t drinking it before; that being said if you haven’t tried it you need to get on that boat. I love that this brand comes in a plastic bottle, which makes it easy to carry and stay cold longer than the boxed brands.
My tank top is the best part of my outfit because it’s such a great conversation piece whenever I wear it.
This coming October, I’ll be attending a Christian women’s conference in NYC called “She Is Free” which empowers women to grow in their relationship with God, experience personal change, and reflect on themselves.
This will be my first time attending the conference and I truly cannot wait. When I was in High School, I was an active member in my area’s YoungLife group (it’s a nondenominational youth group). Actually led on Long Island for a few years when I was in college. Back in the YoungLife days, I would go to conferences similar to this and loved the energy, the community, and the music, so I cannot wait to experience something on this level in Manhattan. If you’re interested in learning more, click on one of the highlighted “She Is Free” links and check it out for yourself; I’d love to see you there 🙂
Enjoy your holiday weekends and feel free to follow along for all the fun on Instagram (@emifeldman) and Facebook (Preppy & Pink) for the Labor Day fun! Spoiler alert: Doug will probably make a cameo on Instagram Story, so be sure to tune into that craziness.
Stay preppy and stay pink!
